About our Farm
Our family farm located south of Ithaca, NY breeds and sells hand-raised, beautiful Pembroke Welsh Corgis. We offer affordable companionship dogs that are widely known for their pointed foxy ears and short legs. Our Corgis have naturally long, un-docked tails and adorable personalities. We love Corgis! We only raise Pembroke Welsh Corgis. Our puppies’ dame and sire are our family companions. They all live with us in our home. They are cared for by my husband and I along with our two older children. Our pups are taken outdoors and love to play in the grassy yard.
did you notice? Our Corgis have tails! This may seem odd at first, but most people don’t know that they are born with tails. Traditionally, Corgi pups have their tails docked surgically. Ouch! Although cosmetically appealing to some, there are no practical reasons to continue doing so for companion dogs. The American Kennel Club or AKC requires all Pembroke Corgis have their tails docked to meet the Club’s breed standards. This is only necessary if the dog requires AKC registration “papers” for participating in dog shows. Dogs who will not be shown in competitions can keep their tails. We think our pups are perfect just as they were born.
